Inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) is recommended for children to be taken because polio is an infectious disease which can lead to paralysis or death. These are risky effects if the vaccine is not taken compared with will be taken because there will have no side effects.
Second example that supports my opinion is meningococcal vaccine which prevents meningitis infections against inflammation of the protective crusts that cover the brain and spinal cord. This type of vaccine is recommended for people 11-54 years old, but especially for children between 9 months to 10 years because they are most exposed to higher risk. As we well know meningococcal diseases are very dangerous for any person and will be better for us to get the vaccine because it is most important compared to what will happen after we’ll get; there are extremely small side effects such as redness or pain where the injection was given.
Yellow fever disease is caused by mosquitos. This can cause liver failure, kidney failure, and lung failure, vomiting of blood, yellowing the eyes and skin, even death. The vaccine against yellow fever virus is recommended for people that travelling in the areas known of existing yellow fever and people that works in laboratory. It stimulates the bodies to make antibodies against the virus which protect you from illness by injected them with the specific virus. As any medicine, this vaccine has rare but serious side effects such as vomiting, memory loss, back pain, loss of bladder, problems with walking, etc. After the risks listed in both ways, we can notice that with vaccine or without it can have serious negative effects.
Looking at benefits and risks associated with immunization I can say my honest opinion. So my view is that getting immunized is better to be recommended than stopping it, because there are more risks if you are not vaccinated than opposite. The amounts of complications are lower than with the disease. If the levels of immunization are higher it can prevent the epidemics and protect the rest people as well as the single person. There are very few vaccines that gives serious side effects.
